AirSplat's $1 MP5 AEG Deal is really tempting me to get the JG MP5A4 for $1. But I really don't want the fixed shoulder stock. Looking around, collapsible MP5 shoulder stocks are over $40. But I happen to have a Cyma CM023 MP5 with a collapsible stock. I bought the entire gun and accessories for about $20. So I decided to see if the Cyma CM023 collapsible stock is swappable with my JG M5-S6 collapsible stock.
The good news is that the Cyma CM023 stock fits just fine on the JG M5-S6 (see photo below). The Cyma CM023 collapsible shoulder stock is made out of plastic, but seems to be sturdy enough. For $20, you can get a replacement shoulder stock for your MP5.

On the other hand, the JG M5-S6 metal collapsible shoulder stock will not fit onto the Cyma CM023. The bottom portion of the Cyma CM023 body is slightly wider than the JG M5-S6, therefore, the collapsible should stock won't fit over it (see photo below). You can probably file the Cyma CM023 body down a bit for it to work. But I'm not sure why you'd put a more expensive shoulder stock onto a $20 airsoft gun.
